Netherlands: Market & business opportunities.

The Netherlands is expanding its security and defence capabilities and strengthening cooperation between industry, research and end users. This creates opportunities for German companies as technology and development partners, specialist suppliers, and providers of integration and support services.

Demand centres on sensing and situational awareness, unmanned systems and counter-drone solutions, secure communications and cybersecurity. Alongside complete solutions, there is demand for components, software and expertise that can be integrated into existing systems and European supply chains.

Further demand comes from protecting connected infrastructure in ports, industry, transport and utilities. Autonomous inspection, underwater monitoring, AI-assisted analysis and secure remote maintenance offer practical opportunities for German-Dutch cooperation, from joint development to ongoing operations.
